Introducing our exclusive guest suite, offering complete privacy from the main house with a separate entrance accessible through the laundry room. Please note that this rental does not include the entire house.
Discover the highlight of your stay! Just steps away, indulge in breathtaking views of Lake Barton, featuring 150 feet of pristine lake-front access. Enjoy access to the backyard's full-size, AVP-certified volleyball court and the delightful lake-side tiki bar. Additional amenities include a relaxation area, fishing, paddle boarding, and wake surfing (upon request). The backyard, shared with our friendly neighbor, invites you to mingle, unwind, and make new friends across our expansive acre of land. The guest suite boasts two queen beds, a recliner couch, and a 40 amp level II Lectron E.V. charging station.

Please note that we continuously enhance and personalize our property, which may involve ongoing projects in the front or back yard.
Delight in our outdoor amenities, including a pool, hot tub, tiki bar, beach volleyball court, tetherball, fire pit, lounge chairs, gym, hammock, and various watersports (upon request), such as wakesurfing and wakeboarding.
Guests will have exclusive access to the private guest suite, sharing the laundry room with the main house where we reside. Your privacy is ensured with locked doors and a separate entrance. The backyard is a shared space.
Kindly adhere to additional rules, including respectful use of the shared backyard amenities with our neighbor within the Compound. After 10 pm, we appreciate keeping noise levels to a minimum.
Regarding guests, the pricing is based on 2people occupying the space. If there will be more than two people (maximum of four) staying for more than one hour, please adjust your guest count accordingly. An additional fee of $25 per night applies.
We warmly welcome your beloved pets to join your stay. To ensure a relaxing experience for everyone, we kindly request adherence to our guidelines. A pet fee of $25 per pet for the entire stay applies. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds (breaching this rule incurs a $200 charge). Dangerous breeds are not permitted due to insurance limitations. Prior notification of your pet's presence is appreciated. Please remove removable rugs in areas accessible to your pet and clean up after them. Leash your dogs until they have met the other dogs on the property.

- Pets reside on the property.
- Some spaces, including the tiki bar and volleyball court, are shared, encouraging social connections.
- Lastly, to maintain a secure and peaceful environment, exterior cameras monitor the gate, driveway, and backyard. These measures ensure the preservation of our property and neighborhood. If this arrangement does not align with your preferences, we kindly ask you to consider alternative accommodations. We greatly value the effort and dedication invested in building and maintaining our home.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking, or if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. After that a 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
Deposit Policy
The tenant agrees to pay a security deposit of $500. This will be refunded 72 hours after checkout or when this agreement is terminated. This will be used to cover any damage to the property as necessary.

This Airbnb was everything you’d want all under one roof. An amazing backyard, an innovative living space, and the environment filled with entertainment. Even though I didn’t get to too much time to enjoy the entire place, after work, I couldn’t wait to get back and enjoy the living space. The bathroom, the light fixtures, the koi pond, the backyard….. OH MY. It was so much to take in, and to top it off, James was an amazing host sharing projects that made the place what it is, to allowing me to check-in early with ease. Although we only stayed one night it was absolutely a good night. The shower felt amazing, the beds were comfortable but we spent most of the evening in the hottub. Unfortunately by the time we started using the hottub, it was a little late and we couldn't figure out the lighting, tv, and sound system that is out there. I'm sure I could have reached out to James and he would have told us what to do, but I didn't want to bother him at that time of night and it really wasn't even an issue for us, we were just fine relaxing in the hottub on a chilly evening. I look forward to staying there again, hopefully for longer than one night. I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb.

The inside is very nice! It’s kinda apartment style being next to the main home. The shower is amazing. It has a temperature setting on it. The beds are super comfy with mattress toppers. There is a full kitchen with plenty of things to cook with. The TV is a great size. The owners are very nice and their dog was sweet. Our dogs played a good bit and we loved it

This place has everything you can think of- cooking, washing, playing- stand up paddle boards, volley ball, swimming pool.
Towels, soap shampoo, eating utensils and a TV that makes the action look like it’s in your living room.
The beds were super comfy. My son said it was hard for him to get up because he rested so well.

Nice Spot but I did have a few major issues with the my stay. The electric couch shorted out and scared me while i was using it , it became stuck after that in the fully reclined position. I awoke early and found no running water , which greatly annoyed me as I had a early business meeting and could not shower beforehand. Another thing I found annoying is that the laundry space is extremely close to the unit. someone decided to dry clothes at 930 pm. the sound of clothes banging around in the dryer kept me awake. perhaps pick better times to do laundry ? host became aware of these problems but wasn’t very receptive to my issues. did give me a partial refund. As the host improves the space these issues will get resolved. will not stay again.

Wow! The pictures really do not do justice to the outdoor playland that is happening out in the backyard. It almost seemed a shame that I didn’t have more people to share this with, but it was just me enjoying reading out in the hammock on the water. Host was super communicative and lovely. What a fun little nook of Orlando, on the lake, that I had never experienced before. I hadn’t realized the guest house was part of the main home, a converted garage I believe, but I still had plenty of privacy and everything was new and clean and included everything I need, with a bathroom and kitchenette and couch. I could hear when people came into use the laundry in the attached hallway outside the inner door but I didn’t really run into anyone.

The room is super nice! Every furniture is state-of-art stuff which I want for my own home. If you do not know what furniture to get for your own house, this is room is a better place than IKEA for you to decide.
It also has great Lake view right outside.
The owner also prepared snacks and even a bottle of wine to welcome our stay.
This suite will be our go-to choice if we travel to Orlando next time.

This location was really great for travel within the Orlando area. Our stay was for a week at Disney so being 30 mins out from each park was a good advantage. The couch was phenomenal and the shower is so cool. They left us be other than the laundry room being right outside our door. The gate control was a little wonky for our visit as we had to get out of the car and put in the code on a secondary keypad to get in. The gate wouldn't open automatically when leaving either. However, I highly recommend this suite and will keep them in mind for our next visit.

It’s right on the lake. I didn’t take advantage but they do play volleyball every Tuesday night. There’s a hot tub on the patio. The room is secluded and is right next to the laundry room if you’re staying a few nights.

I know you’ve read it before...but OMG, that shower!!!! My son and I stayed at the guest suite for a week. It was a fantastic home base! We were lucky enough to be able to personally connect with James and his friends and it made our stay that much better! His guest suite is very technologically advanced (and I’m not, lol) but it was very easy to get used to. I felt like spoiled rotten with not needing to use anything but my voice to make things work. It was really cool! Ps...the hammock in the morning by the beach was my favorite! Thanks James and Fabine for a wonderful time!!! We will 100% be back!
It was wonderful! From the unlimited movie/tv options and the spa-like shower made it a great Airbnb. The check-in process was easy, the living space was clean, the suite was secure with a gate for entrance, there was access to a washer/dryer, and the hosts were super friendly and attentive. I only wish that I could have stayed longer.

James’s place was great! He’s put a lot of hard work into making The Compound a special experience for anyone traveling through. Technology illiterate beware - James has gone above and beyond to have the latest and greatest high tech features that will have you in awe when you walk through the door.
The space itself was very clean, updated and comfortable. Our favorites were the shower and the lake view. It did lack a towel wrack and the door locking situation could be better (common issue for shared spaces). Overall, the stay was great! We loved the view of the lake and the toys offered for us to play on. We also loved the volleyball court, the sand was amazing!
Great stay by the lake. Technology driven, amazing bathroom and was able to rest very comfortable. Also, beach like volleyball in the back by the lake, so if there make sure you get a chance to play during their weekly games. Will definitely stay again.
